RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Serve as the onsite administrative representative for clinical and managerial functions during off-shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Provide leadership, consultation, and collaboration in a dynamic, multidisciplinary environment
• Act as primary backup for front managers in their absence
• Plan, lead, coordinate, and facilitate the provision of quality care and service from a hospital-wide, shift-specific perspective
• Handle issues related to staffing, patient/family relations, risk management, and clinical coordination
• Manage patient placement, public affairs, communications, evaluation, and mentoring responsibilities
• Ensure appropriate distribution and allocation of supplies and equipment
• Provide for adequate numbers and mix of staff to deliver appropriate clinical services
• Foster accomplishment of specific department goals and objectives
• Work collaboratively with Department Heads in a supervisory capacity
