RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide expert, compassionate, individualized nursing care for patients and their families in the operating room
• Work as a circulating nurse responsible for overall patient safety and surgical environment management
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Colorado or from a valid compact state required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• Oversee daily patient flow to optimize patient care, safety and satisfaction
• Demonstrate ability to triage incoming patient requests for services
• Deliver patient education to facilitate plan of care and promote optimal wellness
• Delegate care appropriately according to Colorado statute
• Demonstrate competent healthcare assessment skills, prioritizing skills and critical thinking abilities
• Handle high telephone volume of patient requests for medications, information and assistance
• Administer medications, perform treatments, and assist in procedures while adhering to patient safety guidelines
• Coordinate patient care with other physician practices and healthcare facilities
• Work independently with minimal supervision
• Utilize Relationship-Based Care principles to advocate for patient safety and preferences
• Maintain HIPAA compliance at all times
