Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Diagnostic Imaging - Radiologic Technologist

Job Details:

• Provide health care services and X-ray procedures to assist in diagnosis and treatment
• Perform radiographic exams as requested by healthcare providers
• Conduct fluoroscopic diagnostic and therapeutic procedures alongside radiology providers
• Perform ultrasound-guided paracentesis, thoracentesis, and arthrocentesis procedures
• Assist with fluoroscopically guided PICC placements with radiology nursing
• Perform C-arm fluoroscopy exams in the OR as requested by surgeons
• Complete documentation for proper interpretation, reporting, archiving, and retrieval of exams
• Provide patient education for procedure preparation and post-care
• Regular and sustained attendance required
• May work beyond standard 40-hour workweek including weekends and after-hours shifts
• On-call work may be required
• Must live at least 90 miles away from facility to be considered
• Graduate of CAHEA accredited Radiology program or equivalent required
• Montana Licensure as Radiologic Technologist required
• American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification required
• American Heart Association BLS certification required
• Minimum one year of experience including clinical internship experience
• Physical requirements include lifting up to 50 pounds repeatedly, standing and walking for extended periods
• Exposure to bloodborne pathogens, radiation, chemicals, and infectious diseases
