RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Job Details:

• Night shift position primarily caring for adult patients with occasional pediatrics
• Work in a dynamic general Med/Surg unit providing comprehensive medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care
• Coordinate exceptional patient care for adult and pediatric patients using the innovative Nursing Process
• Provide holistic care addressing patients' age, physiological, spiritual, psychosocial, and developmental needs
• Work under the Unit Director and collaborate closely with Clinical Nurse Lead and/or Nursing Supervisor
• Must have at least 3 years of acute care experience required
• Meditech experience preferred
• Current Vermont RN or multi-state RN licensure required
• BLS (American Heart Association) and ACLS certification required
• Flu shot required with no exceptions
• All required credentials must be uploaded five business days before start date
• Travelers start on Wednesdays
• During orientation week, travelers on 48-hour contracts will only be guaranteed 36 hours due to midweek start
• This is not a pediatric floor but may occasionally have pediatric patients
