RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PACU

Job Details:

• Work within the Operating Room handling all types of elective and emergency surgical cases
• Multi-task efficiently to ensure surgical cases proceed throughout the day in a timely manner
• Handle various surgical specialties including abdominal, thoracic, urology, ENT, plastic, orthopedics, vascular and OB/GYN procedures
• Utilize after-hour call services to staff Operating Rooms for nights, holidays and weekends
• 3 years OR experience required
• Alaska RN license required at time of submission
• Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing (BSN, Associate degree in nursing or Diploma in nursing)
• High school diploma or GED required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Experience in Critical Access Hospital and/or Rural Operating Rooms strongly preferred
• Flu vaccine required
• No RTO will be approved for the first 13-week contract period
• Must live at least 50+ miles away from facility address
• Start date will be no less than 5 weeks after fingerprint cards are received for processing
• Fingerprint appointment must be scheduled within 2-3 days of acceptance to avoid start date delays
