Description
RN Position Job Notes:
Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - PCU
Job Details:
• Work in a 15-bed Progressive Care Unit with 3 step-down ICU beds and 12 telemetry beds
• Patient ratios: 1:4 for Progressive Care, 1:3 for step-down ICU
• Scheduled 36 hours per week following first week of orientation
• No guaranteed hours and no call responsibilities
• Provide primary nursing care and telemetry monitoring
• Perform telemetry strip reading and fingerstick blood sugar checks
• Utilize Meditech charting system and Pyxis for medications
• Work with BIPAP and continuous cardiac monitoring equipment
• Must have at least 1 year hospital acute care experience within the last year
• Progressive Care and telemetry experience preferred
• ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS certifications preferred
• Required to float to all acute units including Medical, Surgical/Pediatrics, ICU, and ER
• Must have active Hawaii nursing license by start of assignment
• Dress code requires scrubs
• Must arrive Thursday before start date for Friday employee health appointment

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
