RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Provide patient-focused nursing care for acutely ill or injured patients of all ages
• Utilize nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity level and available resources
• Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide coordinated patient care
• Perform essential functions within scope of practice and adhere to current policies and procedures
• Process laboratory specimens according to written procedures and report results
• Provide basic respiratory services including capnography, pulse oximetry, and oxygen administration
• Maintain composure during emergency situations and adapt to workplace changes
• Facilitate patient transfers and discharges
• Participate in staff development, competency training, and ongoing professional development
• Must possess current Texas Registered Nurse License or compact license
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Minimum 2 years experience as Registered Nurse in Emergency Department setting
• Must demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and critical thinking abilities
• Physical demands include lifting up to 25 lbs, standing, walking, and manual dexterity
• Reports to Charge Nurse, Nurse Supervisor, and/or Director of Nursing
