Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician

Job Details:

• Work 40 hours per week on a 5x8 day schedule
• Recent travel experience required
• Cerner experience strongly preferred
• Local candidates not accepted (50 mile radius rule applies)
• Must be ARRT or NMTCB registered or registry pending
• NDMIRTBE licensed or temporary license required
• Graduate of Nuclear Medicine School or ARRT Registered Technologist required
• Must have working knowledge of Nuclear Medicine procedures
• Ability to start IVs for contrast administration required
• Perform Nuclear Medicine studies and prepare, measure, and administer radiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic and therapeutic studies under Radiologist direction
• Conduct quality control and calibration testing on cameras and radiation measuring equipment
• Follow radiation safety techniques and policies for receipt, use, and disposal of radioactive materials
• Handle proper charging of procedures through hospital information system
• Organize daily work to ensure smooth workflow and prompt exam performance
• Primarily "Garden Variety" imaging with stress tests, HIDA, bone scans, and PET/CT helpful but not required
• Must adapt and learn new protocols on new equipment as purchased
