RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule is typically 7 on, 7 off with 36 hours one week and 48 hours the next
• Maximum of one week RTO if needed
• Shifts may change during contract to accommodate staffing needs
• Minimum of 2 years recent RN experience in emergency department required
• Rotate through multiple areas including 11-bed Main ED, 6-bed ED Fast Track, and 7-bed ED Observation Unit
• Assignments include Triage, Quick Registration, Covid Tent, and Entry Screening
• May be assigned different areas daily and rotated during shifts based on patient volume
• Assist with Covid testing and immunization clinics as needed
• Float to other departments where qualified to work
• May take patient loads if experienced and competent or perform task-oriented duties
• Required certifications: American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and conscious sedation certification
• Conscious sedation certification obtained through facility after confirmation with $105 fee
• Orientation occurs on Mondays only
