RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Deliver and coordinate high-quality nursing care using the nursing process - assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation
• Provide hands-on patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications, fluids, and respiratory treatments as prescribed
• Recognize and interpret patient symptoms and respond promptly to changes in condition
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient status, interventions, and outcomes
• Teach patients and families about medications, treatments, and discharge care
• Organize time and prioritize tasks effectively to provide timely patient care
• Ensure infection control and safety policies are followed consistently
• Provide leadership and guidance to assigned staff
• Assist in orientation and training of new team members
• Participate in continuing education to maintain professional competence
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in South Dakota or eligible for reciprocity required
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership skills required
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities required
• Prior acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred but not required
