RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

• Provide family-centered care recognizing patients as partners in compassionate and coordinated care
• Deliver patient and family-centered care incorporating the nursing process with developmentally appropriate, culturally sensitive, evidence-based care
• Communicate and advocate for patient values, preferences, and needs as part of care plan implementation
• Function effectively within nursing and inter-professional teams fostering open communication and shared decision-making
• Apply communication practices that minimize risks across transitions of care
• Collaborate with team members in shared decision-making processes
• Integrate best current evidence with clinical expertise and patient/family preferences for optimal healthcare delivery
• Participate in structuring work environment to facilitate integration of new evidence into practice standards
• Use outcome data to monitor care processes and participate in quality improvement activities
• Minimize risk of harm to patients and providers through system effectiveness and individual performance
• Use information and technology to communicate, manage knowledge, and support decision-making
• Navigate and document in EMR to support patient care
• Work within scope of practice and delegate according to Nurse Practice Act
• Participate in shared governance activities and professional development opportunities
• RN License required
• Bachelor's Degree required or equivalent combination of education and experience
• BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association with at least 3 months before expiration required upon hire
