RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

RN - Med Surg Peds Adult

Job Details:

• Collaborate with healthcare team using evidence-based practice while providing safe and optimal patient outcomes
• Demonstrate accountability and respect for patients, families, and coworkers
• Promote continuity of care by communicating effectively with interdisciplinary team and family
• Direct the work of support staff in provision of care
• Perform general nursing duties using critical thinking skills with minimal supervision
• Work with age-specific populations including neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Graduate of an accredited RN program required; BSN preferred
• Current Iowa RN registration and licensure required, must be in good standing with Board of Nursing
• Current American Heart Association (AHA) Heart Code BLS required
• Current ACLS certification required
• Nursing experience in acute care setting preferred
• Must read and communicate effectively in English
• Demonstrate empathetic listening skills, tact and kindness toward others
• Strong verbal communication skills and ability to work effectively as team member
• Basic computer knowledge required
• Technical and critical thinking skills for sound nursing judgment
