Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Ultrasound Tech - Vascular Ultrasound Tech

Job Details:

• Perform high-quality general ultrasound including abdominal, OB/GYN, and vascular studies
• Stand an average of 7-8 hours per workday and walk 6-7 hours per workday
• Competently set up and assist radiologist during procedures
• Work with EMR systems to generate and complete exam orders
• Perform, record, and analyze quality control data to maintain accuracy and precision
• Maintain safe and efficient working environment through equipment checks and cleaning
• Transport patients as needed
• Operate PACS systems for releasing and transmitting images
• Monitor department supply needs to ensure uninterrupted testing
• Complete regular in-house education and competencies for skill maintenance
• Contact service personnel and notify supervisors of malfunctioning equipment
• Must have flexibility in schedule and willingness to adjust hours and cover other shifts
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and awkward weights up to 100+ lbs as needed
• Required to bend, stoop, squat, and reach above shoulder level frequently (20-30 times per day)
• Graduate from accredited ultrasound school required
• BLS certification required
• RVT registration preferred
• RDMS (AB, OB-GYN) preferred
• Strong written and verbal communication skills required
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced, regulated environment
