Opportunity:
Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology
Job Details:
• Work 3x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Wednesday through Friday
• No floating, on-call, or weekend requirements
• Prepare correct radiopharmaceutical dosages and administer to patients
• Operate imaging equipment to scan requested body areas
• Explain procedures to patients and provide reassuring patient care
• Maintain imaging equipment and ensure safe operation
• Work with adult patient population in single room facility
• 2 years of experience required for submission
• Required certifications: BLS, CNMT, ARRT N, Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (NMT cert)
• Must have skills with GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, Toshiba equipment
• Experience required with HIDA Scan, 3 Phase, Limited, Whole Body, DTPA Aerosol, Perfusion, Ventilation/Perfusion procedures
• Must be comfortable with Cancer Survey, I-123 Uptake Scan, Pharmacological Stress, Thallium stress tests
• Ability to start and maintain IVs and handle isolation precautions
• Knowledge of storing, handling, and disposal of radioactive materials required
• Epic charting experience preferred
• Valid California license required at time of submission
• May float to other locations if census is low on home unit
• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing
• Complete orientation modules through e-learning platform

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
