Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility for earlier or later procedures as needed
• Call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend
• Weekend on-call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called
• Float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License
• Minimum 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Travel experience required - first-time travelers will not be accepted
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers accepted)
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be part of Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility until event passes
• Strict no call-in policy enforced
• Must be separated from facility for 1 full year if previously worked as permanent staff before returning as traveler
