Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Work as OR RN Circulator for 13-week assignment
• Monday through Friday shifts from 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Call required every 5th or 6th weekend and one day during the week
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Daily census of 12 patients with 12 visits per day in 5 operating rooms
• Must have minimum 1 year of OR experience required
• Must be proficient in Orthopedics (total joints), General surgery, and OB procedures
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS
• Kansas nursing license required (in hand or compact accepted at submission)
• Experience required with various surgical procedures including orthopedics, GYN, podiatry, general surgery, endoscopy, and labor & delivery c-sections
• Must be competent in fire safety, laser safety, radiation safety, infection control, blood product administration, and wound management
• Work with specialized equipment including Hana Table
• Provide care for patients of all age groups from infants to geriatrics
• 8 hours of orientation required
• May be required to float to different units
• Complete approximately 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
