Description
Opportunity:
RN - PICU
Job Details:
• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required with holiday rotation
• Patient ratios of 1:2 to 1:3
• Float pool position - will float to all Pediatric units in facility (CVPICU, NICU, PICU)
• 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience required
• South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact State RN License required
• Required certifications: BLS, PALS (American Heart Association only)
• Experience preferred in ECMO and CRRT
• Skills include: Anti-seizure medications, chest tube assistance, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilated patient care, central line care, continuous sedation, ICP monitoring, arterial blood gas interpretation, dysrhythmia management, pediatric dosage calculations, and PICC line management
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks (guaranteed hours policy)
• Block schedule accommodations require manager approval based on unit needs
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application
• May be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions only)

Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
