Job Details:

• 3 years minimum nursing experience required
• Level I Trauma experience preferred, Level II Trauma experience required (>1 year)
• Previous travel experience required
• Must be proficient with Da Vinci Xi robot and preferably familiar with DV5 Da Vinci robot
• Must be proficient with robotic general, gynecology, thoracic, and urology specialties
• Must function independently in all specialties: Robotics, Orthopedics, General, GYN, Urology, Bariatrics, ENT, Plastics, Vascular, Thoracic (excluding cardiac and open heart), and Trauma
• Prefer RNs who can both scrub and circulate
• 4-5 call shifts within a 6-week matrix with 30-minute callback response time
• 4-5 weekend shifts within a 6-week matrix (day, evening, or night shifts possible)
• Must work at least 1 major holiday (day, evening, or night shift possible)
• Will work 2 of 3 major holidays with no time off approved between Christmas and New Year's
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Floating as needed
• No block scheduling permitted
• Maximum 7 days requested time off
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Epic charting experience heavily preferred
• Must complete 5-6 hours of pre-start modules
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Manager interview required

This major healthcare facility operates an 18-room operating department within a 593-bed hospital system. The facility provides comprehensive surgical services across multiple specialties and maintains advanced robotic surgical capabilities with Da Vinci systems. The organization supports a daily census of 50-60 patients and offers extensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams.
