MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM
• Call coverage required for nights and weekends, rotating with 3-4 other technologists
• 40-hour orientation required
• Must have 2 years of experience and travel experience required
• No first-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT MR and BLS
• 1 year of EPIC EMR experience required
• Must be comfortable with adult acute care, adult ICU, adult outpatient, and ER/trauma settings
• Work with patients ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
• Patient ratios vary: 3 during days, 2 during nights, 1 on weekends
• Daily census of approximately 130 patients in 169-bed facility
• Floating to other qualified units within the health system may be required based on census needs
• Pre-assignment testing and modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login information
• Must complete annual modules (up to 16 billable hours)
• Must be 50+ miles from flagship hospitals for this specialty position
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
