Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required, first-time travelers accepted
• Patient population: Adults to Geriatrics
• Patient ratio: 1:6 (5-6 patients days, nights, and weekends)
• Unit has 20 rooms with average daily census of 18
• Focus on renal care including HD catheter management, manual PD/PD cycler
• Care for patients with sepsis, telemetry monitoring, ETOH (CIWA), UTI, CKD, HTN emergency
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS preferred
• Skills required: Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, telemetry
• Scrub colors: Navy or white or combinations
• Every other weekend schedule unless specified elsewhere
• Floating required to like units
• No call requirements
• Holiday work required based on assignment period (1-2 holidays if they fall during assignment, 2 out of 3 if three holidays fall during assignment)
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Unit systems: Epic, Pyxis, SBAR
• Special equipment: Cycler for dialysis
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
