Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work night shifts 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Maintain 1:6 patient ratios on all shifts
• 2+ years of nursing experience required, with 2.5-3+ years preferred
• First time travelers accepted
• On-call responsibilities required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS (PALS can be obtained on-site within first week)
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must live outside 75+ mile radius
• Valid state license must be in hand before start date
• 2 references required at time of submission
• Any color scrubs permitted
• Charting system: Evident
• Free parking provided
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, geriatrics
• Skills include blood product administration, colostomy care, CPAP/BiPAP, heparin administration, telemetry monitoring, IV management, wound care, and surgical drain management
• Zero tolerance marijuana policy - positive THC test results in automatic contract cancellation
• Return travelers must have been gone 6+ months before returning

This critical access healthcare facility features 18 beds and maintains an average daily census of 14 patients. The facility provides comprehensive medical and surgical services with interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, and pharmacy.
