Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 1-2 years of nursing experience required
• Community hospital experience required
• Specific Cardiac ICU experience required
• Unit accepts first-time travelers
• Patient ratio of 1:2 for both days and nights
• Weekend coverage required every other weekend
• Adult patient population
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS
• Additional preferred certifications: CPI, NIHSS, TNCC
• Must be proficient in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias
• Experience with pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring required
• Skills in central line care/management and starting IVs required
• Experience with care of ventilated patients and ventilator management
• Ability to titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Documentation system: Cerner (preferred experience)
• Medication system: Accudose
• Communication system: SBAR
• Blue scrubs required
• Self-scheduling type
• One pre-approved time off allowed per contract
• Candidates within 75 miles are considered local with rate adjustment

Facility:

This community hospital features a 23-room cardiac intensive care unit with a daily census of 18 patients. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including physical therapy, respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, transportation, and unit secretary services. The ICU specializes in cardiac care and maintains advanced monitoring capabilities for critically ill patients requiring intensive cardiac interventions.
