Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required - first-time travelers not accepted
• Patient population: Adolescents to Geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS
• Work in a general emergency department (non-trauma) that is very large and busy with high acuity patients
• Stroke and STEMI certified facility
• Patient ratio: 1:4 in a 59-bed ER averaging 165-175 patients per day
• Epic charting system experience required (hard stop - no Epic experience means redirection)
• Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Work every other weekend
• Floating is rare
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Community hospital and trauma level experience preferred
• Full compliance required to start on time or face 2-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation schedule
• Clinical screening required to determine clinical fit before manager review
• Local candidates accepted at same rate

I am an Adult Cardiac Sonographer and I have been traveling for almost 3 years now and pretty much all the time with ADEX Healthcare staffing. I always look around for all the options as most of travelers do, but end up with this company, because They don’t fail me! Good competitive rates and always attention. Vincent Poast is the guy you want to deal with no matter what is your experience in traveling and profession. He always explains all pros and cons of a contract. I feel like he is on my side compared to other recruiters. The most important part for me that he always answers my calls and texts no matter if it’s a weekend or after hours! Also, if he can’t help me directly, he would get a ADEX staff member who resolves an issue right the way. The whole team has been very helpful for almost 6 contracts now. Oh, and another very important thing for me that Vince never pushes to get into a contract and bothers like a lot of other recruiters that calling and texting day and night. He lets you decide what you really want !
