Opportunity:

RN - ICU

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Patient ratios of 1:1-2 in Cardiac ICU (CICU)
• Required to work every other weekend (12 shifts during contract)
• May float to MICU or other departments when census is low
• Can be placed on call for low census but no additional call shifts required
• 2 years of ICU experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• South Carolina or Multi State/Compact RN license required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Equipment experience preferred with CRRT - Prismax
• Royal blue scrubs required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 12-hour orientation provided
• Facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Care for primarily cardiac diagnoses (CHF, STEMI) and MICU/SICU overflow patients
• Work with specialized equipment including FloTrac, Impella, IABP, and CRRT
• Must be available during hurricane season (June-November) for potential emergency response assignments
• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

This acute care hospital features a new 4-bed Cardiac ICU with plans to expand to 16 beds as volume increases. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams. The hospital utilizes modern technology and equipment to deliver high-quality cardiac care and critical care services to adult and geriatric patients.
