Opportunity:

Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday schedule with no weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Must have PET/CT experience as this is primarily a PET tech role
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Work with patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, PET
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Must be skilled in various nuclear medicine procedures including PET scans, bone scans, liver imaging, renal/perfusion studies, and ventilation/perfusion scans
• Experience required with storing/handling/disposal of radioactive materials
• Must be proficient in starting and maintaining IVs and drawing venous blood
• Holiday work required: if one or two major holidays fall during assignment, must work all; if three major holidays fall during assignment, must work two
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Maximum 7 days RTO allowed
• Full compliance required to start on time
