Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with flexibility for earlier or later procedures as needed
• Call responsibilities divided equally among team members, typically two nights per week and every other weekend
• Weekend call coverage from close of business Friday to department opening Monday morning
• Must be able to arrive within 30 minutes when called in
• May float between Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Cath Lab as needed
• 2 years of experience in specialty required
• Travel experience required - first time travelers not accepted
• Must live over 65 miles from facility (no local travelers)
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, ARRT, and Louisiana State License
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• 24 hours of orientation provided over 5 days
• Patient ratio of 2:1 during day shifts
• Daily census of approximately 5 patients with 5 visits per day
• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations
• May be assigned to Emergency Team during emergency events with expectation to stay at facility
• Strict no call-in policy enforced
• Must be separated from facility for 1 full year if previously employed as permanent staff
