Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend coverage required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating within facility/scope of practice as needed
• Unit accepts first time travelers
• Required certifications: BLS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must maintain skills in isolation precautions, med/surg, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, peripheral line care/management, and use of rapid response/code teams
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Holiday work requirements: if one or two major holidays fall during assignment period, must work all holidays; if three major holidays fall during assignment period, must work two of the holidays
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Must have Georgia or compact license in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred (manager level or above)
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
• Full compliance required to start on time
