Opportunity:

RN - IMC

Job Details:

• Work in Intermediate Intensive Care Unit (IICU) with 1:3 patient ratios
• Care for adult patients including trauma, medical, surgical, and neurology cases requiring monitoring or interventions every 1-2 hours
• Handle direct admissions, ICU transfers, and escalations from Rapid Response Teams
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years RN experience with at least 1 completed travel assignment required
• Previous IICU/ICU experience with 1:3 acuity required
• First-time travelers accepted with 3 years critical care experience
• Must have active South Carolina or multistate license
• 1 year minimum EPIC EMR experience required
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule period required
• Must be proficient in cardiac monitoring and emergency response including dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Experience with ventilators required
• Medication management including titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Floating to other qualified units may be required based on census needs
• Work with special equipment including Hercules patient repositioners, ceiling lifts, and Airtaps
• Pre-assignment testing and modules required within 48 hours of contract signing
• Orientation occurs every Monday
• Flu vaccination required with no exemptions
