Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Work 4 x 10-hour shifts Monday through Thursday from 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM
• No call responsibilities required
• Must be trained to use steering client for Siemens virtual cockpit to scan for remote sites
• Primary responsibility includes scanning for remote campuses: Greer (2 hours away), Tuomey (1 hour away), and Parkridge (20 minutes away)
• When no remote scans are needed, assist with Richland patients
• Experience with GE and Siemens equipment required, including 1.5T and 3T systems
• Must be strong in pediatrics as role is almost exclusively pediatric scanning
• Previous Children's Hospital experience preferred
• Handle inpatient/outpatient MRI for adults and pediatrics of all ages including neonates, stroke and trauma patients
• Must be certified RAD TECH through ARRT (ARMRIT not accepted)
• Required certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• 10 hours of orientation provided
• Must complete pre-assignment testing and modules within 48 hours
• May be required to float to other units and campuses per census needs

The facility serves as the home scan site for virtual cockpit equipment and provides imaging services for multiple campus locations. The department handles a diverse patient population including pediatrics, neonates, trauma patients, and stroke cases, with interdisciplinary support services including IV teams, respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams.
