Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Must be flexible with weekend requirements and work 50% of weekends during contract
• Weekend requirements based on unit operational needs
• Patient ratios: 1:5 during days, 1:5-6 during nights
• Must be willing to float to different levels of care (Med-Surg, PCU, ICU) - refusal may result in contract termination
• May be required to provide charge nurse coverage with training and resources provided
• Must be willing to precept students and have students shadow during assignment
• Call-ins require makeup shifts or extension of contract
• Care for cardiovascular surgical, peripheral vascular surgical, arrhythmias, endocarditis, and CHF exacerbation patients
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Travel experience required
• Required certification: BCLS
• Preferred skills: Telemetry and IV start
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Indiana residents not accepted for this position
• Must have nursing license in hand prior to start date
• Two supervisor references required
• University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE
• Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only
