Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts in Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department
• Required to work 3 weekends (Friday-Sunday) per 4-week schedule
• Patient ratios range from 1:5-6 during regular hours, up to 1:8 during high volume periods and holidays
• Float to Pediatric Emergency Department when necessary
• No on-call requirements
• Must be willing to work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving/Day After, Christmas Eve/Christmas Day, New Year's Eve/New Year's Day)
• May request one holiday off per contract
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Level I trauma experience required
• EPIC charting experience required
• Required certifications: Michigan RN License, ACLS, BCLS (AHA), PALS, TNCC, NIH
• Preferred certification: ENPC
• Must complete 36 hours of orientation and non-billable modules before starting
• Care for patients of all ages including infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Handle high-acuity emergency cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac emergencies
• Experience with continuous IV sedation, procedural sedation, dysrhythmia interpretation and management preferred
• Daily census approximately 250 patients with 100 beds
• RTO must be submitted at time of submittal with 5-day maximum policy
• Locals accepted with same pay structure
