Opportunity:

RN - Observation Unit

Job Details:

• 26 week contract assignment (not flexible)
• Work 3x12 hour shifts with 36 guaranteed hours or 8/10 hour shifts with 40 guaranteed hours
• Position located in 2 East Clinical Decision Unit
• 18 months telemetry/acute care experience required, 2 years preferred
• PCU experience required
• Must have vasoactive drip experience
• Required certifications: BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Will float to all 3 hospitals within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Free parking in unrestricted spaces
• EKG and Pharm test required during orientation with 2 attempts maximum
• Time sensitive modules must be prioritized upon confirmation
• Must provide 2 references from direct supervisor/manager for unit
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application
• Skills required: interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, rapid response/code teams, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drips management, telemetry, PCU/stepdown care
