Opportunity:

RN - Observation Unit

Job Details:

• Work in 2 East Clinical Decision Unit providing MS/Tele nursing care
• 26-week contract (not flexible)
• Guaranteed 36 hours for 3x12 shifts or 40 hours for 8/10 hour shifts
• 18 months tele/acute care experience required, 2 years preferred
• PCU experience required with strong vasoactive drip experience mandatory
• Required certifications: AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start)
• Float to all 3 hospitals within scope (Martin North, South, Tradition - within 20 miles)
• Must be nicotine free - negative 10 panel + nicotine (cotinine) drug screen required
• White scrubs required
• EPIC charting system
• Skills include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, blood product administration, central and peripheral line care, cardiac drips management, telemetry, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown care
• EKG and pharmacy test required during orientation with maximum 2 attempts each
• Time-sensitive modules must be prioritized upon assignment confirmation
• All RTO must be submitted at time of application only
• First-time travelers accepted
• No pending certifications accepted
