Opportunity:

MRI Tech - MRI Tech

Job Details:

• Block schedule Monday through Thursday
• Minimum 1 year of experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Patient population ranges from pediatrics to geriatrics
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT
• Follow Piedmont protocols and policies to perform MRI on inpatient, emergency room, and outpatient patients
• Required to start IVs, use PACS, and administer contrast
• Perform MRI scans on body, neuro, extremities, abdominal, pelvic, and angiogram studies
• Scan most parts of the body with exceptions: no cardiac, breasts only during the week, pacemakers during the week
• Work with 1 MRI room with average daily caseload of 15-25 patients
• Required experience with Epic charting system, GE and Siemens equipment
• Scrub color: Pewter gray or black
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Every other weekend coverage required unless otherwise specified
• Call requirements apply
• Holiday work requirements based on number of major holidays during assignment period
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
