Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Nurse to patient ratios 1:3-4 during days, 1:4-5 during nights and weekends
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Care for adult and geriatric patients on a 26-bed unit with daily census of 25
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH (prior to assignment)
• Must have 2 years of recent experience and travel experience required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• May float to different units as needed
• Skills required include interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, O2 protocol management, non-invasive airway management, management of drips, peripheral and central line care/management, blood product administration, isolation precaution/PPE, computerized documentation
• Provide care for patients with diagnoses including colon cancer, breast cancer, prostate cancer, and post-surgical care including continuous bladder irrigation, colostomy procedures, breast reconstruction, vascular surgery, amputations, spinal surgery, thyroidectomy, wound debridement
• Rapid response team activation capabilities required
• Must be more than 75 miles from facility to be eligible as traveler
• Two references required for submission
• License in hand or compact required at submission
