Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour mid shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday schedule
• No call requirements
• No block scheduling
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• EPIC experience required
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Patient ratio of 5-6 patients for all shifts
• Float to like acuities or less if needed
• Charge experience preferred but not required
• Required certifications: NIH/Stroke Certifications, BLS, ACLS, CPI, PALS
• Care for patients from neonates to geriatrics in 34-bed emergency department
• Handle approximately 100-116 patient visits per day
• Perform triage, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation procedures
• Manage emergency medications, IV vasopressors, arterial lines, and central line care
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Use Epic charting system and Pyxis medication dispensing system
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed per contract
