Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 3x12 or 4x12 day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• Block scheduling may be accommodated
• Patient ratios of 1:6-7
• Minimum 1 year experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, NIHSS
• ACLS preferred
• Must wear navy blue scrubs
• Must be proficient in cardiac drips including cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone
• Work primarily on orthopedic unit with med-surg/telemetry overflow
• Handle cardiac drips when needed for overflow patients
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Daily census of 42 patients with 42 beds available
• Must have active Alabama RN license at time of submittal
• Travel experience required, though candidates with extensive experience may be considered
• Complete 8+ hours of non-billable modules
• 90-mile radius rule enforced - no local candidates accepted
