Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in Medical/Surgical nursing required
• Kansas or Compact nursing license required
• BLS certification required
• Must be located 35+ miles or more away from the facility (NO LOCALS accepted)
• First time travelers accepted
• Provide direct and indirect patient care in Medical/Surgical setting
• Communicate with physicians, Director of Nursing, Nurse Supervisor, and co-workers about changes in patient clinical condition
• Monitor diagnostic study results and patient symptomatology
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or response to treatment
• Perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision
• Care for patients across all age groups: neonates, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work with interdisciplinary support team including Physical Therapy, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy
• Provide acute care inpatient services
