Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work 36/36 or 36/48 schedule with every other weekend required
• No call responsibilities
• Floating required within the facility
• Patient ratios of 5:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 2 years of nursing experience required
• Accepts first-time travelers
• Must live 100+ miles from the facility
• Required certifications: AHA ACLS, AHA BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience required
• 16 hours of non-billable orientation beginning on Sundays
• Participate in nursing student support and clinical education
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Unit has 10 rooms and 10 beds
• Skills include accessing/managing ports, blood product administration, central line care, chest tubes, CPAP/BIPAP, feeding tube management, heparin protocols, telemetry monitoring, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, wound care, and tracheostomy care
• Work with interdisciplinary support including IV teams, physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Must complete drug test 12-14 calendar days prior to start date
• Facial hair must be trimmed for fit testing per CDC guidelines
• Complete 4-5 hours of non-billable modules during orientation
