Opportunity:

RN - Tele; Additional Notes from VMS= ED Boarder RN - MS/Tele & Cardiac Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 3x12 schedule with every 3rd weekend required
• One major holiday per contract required
• Float to MS and MS/Tele units as needed
• No call required
• Patient ratios: 4 patients during days, 5 patients during nights, 4 patients on weekends
• Must successfully pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with minimum 80% overall score and 100% on lethal rhythms
• 2 years of MS/Tele and Cardiac Tele experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• Compact license or MD license required
• Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
• Care for patients of all age groups: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work with 44 rooms and 52 beds with daily census of 125
• Skills include blood product administration, cardiac telemetry, central line care, chest tubes, heparin protocols, IV insulin protocols, cardiac and vasoactive drip management, wound care, and various other telemetry unit competencies
• Charting system experience with Cerner preferred
• Two supervisor references required
