Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - X-Ray Tech

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM
• Weekend rotation required - typically every 4th weekend
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Must have NY state license in hand to submit
• Required certifications: ARRT R, BLS
• EPIC charting experience is a hard requirement
• Candidates must be located more than 50 miles from facility
• Float assignments required
• 37.5 hours of orientation provided during first week (Monday-Friday 8-hour shifts)
• Perform general radiology procedures covering inpatient exams, emergency department, and outpatient scheduled/walk-in X-rays
• Provide operating room coverage for C-arm cases and scheduled fluoroscopy exams
• Handle various imaging procedures including abdomen, chest, spine, extremities, facial bones, and trauma cases
• Work with patients of all ages from newborn to geriatric
• Support Level III Trauma center serving St. Lawrence county
• Work with FUJI fluoro room, portables, general X-ray room, Konica Minolta U-arm, and Siemens C-arms
• Use Pyxis and EPIC systems for medication and documentation

The facility features a Level III Trauma center and serves patients across all age groups with a 95-bed capacity and daily census of 25 patients. The radiology department is equipped with modern imaging technology and provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, and rapid response teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
