Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 36 hours weekly with weekend rotations required
• Patient ratio of 3:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 1-2 years of recent nursing experience required
• First time travelers not accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC (preferred) - must be American Heart Association certified
• Scrub color: Wine
• No on-call requirements
• Block scheduling type
• Float requirements not specified
• Weekend coverage required
• Two pre-approved time off requests allowed
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Must possess rapid assessment, triage, trauma management, and advanced life support skills
• Expert level IV access and intervention skills required
• Care for patients of all age groups: infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Daily census of 27 patients with 7 beds available
• Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, phlebotomy, radiology, pharmacy, and unit secretary
• Minimum 2 years RN experience required
• WV or Compact license required (pending license acceptable)
• Must live greater than 100 miles from facility (75-100 miles considered case-by-case)
• Minimum 2 manager or charge references within past 2 years required
