Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers accepted
• On call requirement every 3rd or 4th weekend starting Friday at 5:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM
• Must be proficient in both peripheral vascular IR and neuro vascular IR
• Required certifications: BLS and ARRT
• Must be able to scrub both peripheral and neuro cases
• Work with 4 IR rooms including 2 single plan and 2 biplane Siemens c-arms
• Two IR techs assigned to each room - one circulates, one scrubs
• Perform procedures including stents, angioplasty, angiograms, nephograms, peripherals, drainages, upper and lower extremity procedures, abdominal and pelvic procedures, vascular studies, venous access, and neurological studies
• Work in Level 1 trauma, Level 1 PE, Level 1 stroke environment
• Handle vascular interventional and neuro interventional procedures including angiograms, embolizations, nephrostomy, IVC filter placement, PE thrombectomy, intracranial thrombectomy, stent placements, central line insertions
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Call-in policy: missed shifts must be made up during pay period or added to end of contract
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred
• Work primarily with adult patients
