Job Details:

• Work 3 twelve-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• 1-2 call shifts per week Monday through Thursday, call starts after your shift until 7:00 AM the next morning
• 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks starting at end of shift Friday until 7:00 AM Monday
• No scheduled weekend shifts (call only)
• Holiday coverage on call basis per department need
• Must work 1 of 2 major upcoming holidays with no time off around Christmas and New Year's
• 30-minute callback response time required
• No guaranteed block scheduling
• Maximum 7 days requested time off allowed
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• First time travelers not accepted
• Neuro, trauma, ortho, and robotics experience REQUIRED
• Must be able to function independently in neurosurgery
• EPIC charting system experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• Care for all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Work in 18-room operating suite with daily census of 50-60 cases
• Tobacco and fragrance-free facility
• Manager interview required
• Pre-screen unit clinical review required
• Complete pre-start modules taking 5-6 hours
