Opportunity:

RN - ER

Job Details:

• Work block scheduling with every other weekend coverage required
• Maintain 4:1 patient ratios for days, nights, and weekends
• Float within facility scope of practice and to Free-Standing ER (Ellijay) as needed
• No call requirements
• Work 6 weekend shifts per contract period
• 40 hours of orientation required
• Work with patients of all ages: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Handle daily census of 60 patients across 18 rooms/18 beds
• 2 years of experience required - unit accepts first-time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Skills required include blood product administration, central line care/management, continuous IV sedation, interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, IV vasopressors, phlebotomy, procedural sedation administration/monitoring, and starting/maintaining IVs
• Holiday requirements: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two of three if three fall during assignment
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Two supervisory references highly preferred at submission
• Maximum 7-day RTO allowed
• Must be available to submit core items and complete/schedule labs within 48 hours of signing contract
