Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work with adult and geriatric patient populations on a 36-bed medical surgical unit
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• Every other weekend requirement
• No call responsibilities
• Float within facility/scope of practice as needed
• 24 hours of orientation required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required - unit accepts first time travelers
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills include: Continuous Bladder Irrigation (CBI), Isolation Precautions, Med/Surg, MS/Tele, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management, Telemetry
• Work with patient diagnoses including general medical surgical and peritoneal dialysis
• Holiday work requirements: work one major holiday if one falls during assignment, work both if two fall during assignment, work two out of three if three fall during assignment
• Georgia or Compact license must be in hand at time of submittal
• Maximum 7-day RTO allowed
• Must be available to submit core items and complete labs within 48 hours of signing contract
