Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• 3 shifts per week schedule with weekdays and some weekends
• Patient ratio of 4:1 during days, nights, and weekends
• Float to ER, ICU, and LDRP as required
• Care for medical surgical, orthopedic, and general surgery patients
• Provide care for post-operative joint and medical patients
• Work with patients of all age groups: adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Daily census of approximately 12 patients with 23 total beds and 20 rooms
• Required certifications: BCLS (required), ACLS preferred
• Kansas state license or compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• TRUBRIDGE (formerly CPSI) EMR experience required
• Skills required: IV starts, telemetry monitoring, charge experience preferred
• Orthopedic experience with total hips and knees a plus
• Rural health experience preferred
• First time travelers and local candidates accepted
• Must complete approximately 1 hour of non-billable modules pre-start
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
