Opportunity:

Registered Nurse - PCU

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts per week
• Patient ratio of 1:4-5 for all shifts (days, nights, and weekends)
• Weekend coverage required
• 1 year of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• 24 hours of orientation provided
• Must be licensed to practice in South Carolina at time of submission
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• EPIC charting experience preferred
• Must maintain 50-mile radius rule for local candidates
• Floating required within hospital or to affiliate hospitals nearby
• Care for adult and geriatric patients
• Manage patients with critical care stepdown, neuro/stroke, cardiac patients with planned interventions, and telemetry monitoring
• Skills include cardiac telemetry, CVA management, external CPAP/BIPAP, heparin protocols, high flow nasal cannula, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, and insulin drip titration
• Two supervisory references required
• Keep time off requests to minimum, especially in first two weeks
• Expect to work some holidays
• Overtime available after 48 hours for 4x12 schedules
