Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Schedule includes 3 shifts per week (3x12s)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Holiday coverage as needed
• Floating required when census is down across all Cone Health facilities
• Patient ratio of 6:1 for days, nights, and weekends
• 30-bed unit with daily census of 16 patients
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• First-time travelers accepted
• Previous Charge RN experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• 48 hours of orientation provided
• Care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Patient diagnoses include observation patients, respiratory conditions, general medical/surgical diagnoses, palliative/end of life/hospice patients, psychiatric observation, diabetes management, and surgical patients
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Compliance deadline is 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date
• Local radius restriction: 50 miles (no locals accepted)
