Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg Tele

Job Details:

• Work three 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Every other weekend schedule with holiday rotation required
• Must commit to 21-week assignment (13-week option not available)
• 1:6 patient ratios maintained throughout all shifts
• Float to other units as needed and may serve as Charge RN when required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required - no first-time travelers accepted
• Previous charge experience and travel experience required
• BLS certification and EPIC charting system experience required
• Must pass mandatory EKG exam during onboarding (2 attempts allowed)
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required with medical/religious exemptions only
• Skills include blood product administration, peripheral line care management, starting IVs, heparin and insulin protocols, PCA management, and nasal cannula
• Work with isolation precautions and utilize rapid response teams
• Care for adult and geriatric medical-surgical patient population
• Zero-tolerance policy for tardiness and unexcused absences
• Subject to float to any campus within the health system if needed
• Local radius restriction of 50 miles - no local candidates accepted
